Dorothy Bailey, a 1962 NCCU Alumnus, was  honored at the Women of Achievement Awards Breakfast at the Fifth Annual Southern Prince George’s Business and Professional Women’s Women of Achievement Awards Breakfast.Thursday January 18, 2007 by . 

Bailey, who served on the Prince George’s County as a council member for eight years, is a life member of the National Council of Negro Women, and the Community Services Coalition of Prince George’s County.

‘‘It’s always good to be remembered. I am continuing to be involved in a number of organizations in Prince George’s County. It’s good to be included with such distinguished honorees and special women that I work with. Getting this award is an honor,” Bailey said
