James P. Green, Jr.

James P. Green, Jr.  is a native Henderson, NC.  He established the Law Office of James P. Green, Jr. in 1990. As a practicing attorney, Green has routinely handled cased involving: Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Traffic, Criminal, Social Security Disability, Business and Nonprofit law. The firm now has offices in Raleigh and Durham.

Green graduated from Vance Senior High School in 1976. In 1980, Green received his BA from North Carolina Central University, majoring in Public Administration. In 1982 Green received his Masters of Public Affairs degree from North Carolina State University. In 1986 he received his Juris Doctorate Degree from North Carolina Central University and obtained his license to practice law in North Carolina.

Green is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Green currently serves on the Board of Directors of Poplar-Springs Christian Church in Raleigh, NC and United Christian Campus Ministries in Durham.

Green is the Great-Grandson of Dr. James E. Shepard, founder of North Carolina Central University and is the son James P and Carolyn Green of Henderson.
