NCCU 19th Annual Jazz Festival

DURHAM -- The N.C. Central University Jazz Studies Program will host the 19th annual NCCU Jazz Festival April 17-18.

The weekend concert series features saxophonist, composer and recording artist Jimmy Heath who is headlining the weekend concert series at 8 p.m. April 18 and vocalist Lois Deloatch.

Heath will perform with the award-winning NCCU Big Band, conducted by Ira Wiggins.

Deloatch will perform at 8 p.m. April 17 with the NCCU Jazz Ensemble.

The performances will take place in the B.N. Duke Auditorium at NCCU, 1801 Fayetteville St.
