Dear Fellow Alum:
We have begun a new membership year for the District of Columbia Chapter, North Carolina Central University Alumni Association.  During the 2007-2008 year, the Chapter had more than 200 alumni who supported the Chapter by paying their local alumni dues.  It is important that you now renew your membership so that we can keep this momentum going.

In addition, your support is vital to us this year as we seek to increase our presence in the Washington, DC area, increase the number of scholarships given to local students to attend North Carolina Central University and as we address the every growing involvement in national and local activities and programs that support our alma mater.

A copy of the Membership Application is on our website and we solicit your support by completing the application and mailing it along with your check.  Please complete the application fully.  If you have an email address it is important that you give us that information.  During this year, we will be using our email list serve to keep alumni informed of programs and activities.

We have an aggressive program planned this year and we solicit your involvement in our programs and activities.  We will start our meetings on Saturday, September 13, 2008 and will meet monthly through the month of May.  December and June are months that we do not meet, but have special social activities for our membership.
